Digestive Disease Physicians, located in Alexandria, Virginia, is a practice of nine board-certified gastroenterologists with over 80 years of combined experience delivering top quality gastrointestinal health care. Our physicians perform a broad range of gastrointestinal procedures, including but not limited to: colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ERCP, flexible sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy and infrared coagulation of hemorrhoids. We are affiliated with Inova Alexandria Hospital.
The focus of our practice is patient-centered care: We meet with you before your procedure and discuss all aspects of the procedure with you; we personally deliver results to you following the procedure and we communicate results with your primary care physician to ensure effective coordination of care. All of our physicians are on staff at Inova Alexandria Hospital and are available for consultation should your condition require hospitalization. Laboratory, biopsy, and X-ray study results will be returned in a prompt manner, with patient privacy always a priority.
